The Vintage Players

            Since 1994 Vintage Players has presented high quality staged readings.  By allowing our actors to work with script “in hand” and thus eliminating the need for memorization we are able to use the talents of older, or perhaps less experienced actors.  This approach permits us to concentrate on the depth of emotion and the beauty of the language.

            To date the company has staged twelve productions including three plays by Brian Friel.  We often choose lesser known works so that our loyal audience will have some surprises.  Despite the seriousness of some of our productions our primary purpose is to have fun.  That is why we often think of ourselves as a “play” group.
